October Format Counts: Religion Continues To Lead The Way In Station Growth
While country remains far-and-away the most programmed format on commercial U.S. stations according to Inside Radio/PrecisionTrak's counts for October, it's the second-ranked religion format – encompassing religious teaching, hymns, and other related content – that's setting the pace for growth. In the past year, the format has added 33 stations (up 1.6%), with 31 (up 1.5%) since January 2023, and six more just in the past month.
