Senator Suggests Tying Federal EV Tax Credits To AM Radio Inclusion.
As support for a bill that would require carmakers to keep AM radio in their dashboard entertainment systems continues to build in Congress, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has an idea that will give auto companies more incentive to go along. He suggests that if a brand pulls AM out of their models, the federal government should in turn yank the $7,500 per car tax credit for any electric cars that the auto company makes.
